I hope 75% of the Jewelry District goes bye bye over the next few years, making way for OTHER businesses that stay open past 5PM, like restaurants, clothing stores, markets, galleries, museums (MONA anyone?), etc.
It is so important that the Jewelry District shrinks significantly for the long term health of DTLA since the Jewelry District is like a huge chasm between the residents in the Historic Core and the Financial District.
